Wei-Hsiang Lo is a first-year PhD student in Industrial & Operations Engineering (IOE) at the University of Michigan. His research combines engineering principles, inclusive design, and artificial intelligence to improve human–machine interaction for automated vehicles, focusing on developing AI-driven systems that adapt to human states and behaviors to enhance safety and efficiency.
